The Prime Minister said: On June 25, the construction of the 112 km long Ring Road 4 project in Hanoi with a total investment of 85,000 billion VND will begin. This afternoon, the Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet and Nha Trang – Cam Lam expressways will be inaugurated.

With the goal of having 5,000 km nationwide by 2030, the Prime Minister said that by 2025, our country must reach at least 3,000 km. Thus, during the 13th and 14th Congresses, the country must develop 4 times more highways than the previous period. “This is a heavy task, but we have learned many valuable lessons to overcome the shortcomings of the previous period.
To achieve this goal, the Prime Minister said: Since the beginning of the term, an additional 566 km of highways have been put into operation, bringing the total number of kilometers of highways nationwide to 1,729 km to date. “Everyone has overcome the sun and rain, overcome the pandemic to achieve this result,” he said.
The Head of Government also emphasized: The trans-Vietnam expressway, starting from Cao Bang through Lang Son, to Ca Mau, will solve the infrastructure problem of the whole country, distributing the regions fairly evenly, especially developing the East-West expressways, passing through key economic regions, contributing to socio-economic development.
